Agreement

1. Payment Obligation

All participating teams in the NERC Hockey Leagues agree to pay the full league fee for the current season by the end of Week 6 of the season. The league fee for each team is specified in the league's fee schedule provided to Captains at the beginning of the season.

2. Captain's Responsibility

Each team Captain is responsible for ensuring that their team's league fee is paid in full by the specified deadline. Captains are expected to collect the necessary funds from their team members and submit the payment to the League on or before the Week 6 deadline.

3. Late Payment Penalty

In the event that a team's league fee is not paid in full by the end of Week 6 of the season, the following penalties shall apply:

A late fee of $25 will be assessed for each week that the league fee remains unpaid beyond the Week 6 deadline.

4. Enforcement

The League reserves the right to take the following actions in the event of non-payment or late payment of league fees:

Suspension of the team from league play until all outstanding fees, including late fees, are paid in full.
Removal of the team from the league if fees remain unpaid for an extended period, as determined by the League's discretion.
Legal action may be pursued to recover outstanding fees, including any associated legal costs.

5. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute related to league fees or penalties, Captains are encouraged to contact the League's management to seek resolution. The League will make reasonable efforts to address disputes in a fair and timely manner.

6. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the League and Captains regarding the payment of league fees for the current season and supersedes any prior agreements, whether written or oral, related to the same subject matter.
